Patricia was a graduate student in the Neurobiology & Behavior Program at Columbia. She received her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience from the College of Charleston (Charleston, SC) in 2016. There, she studied autotomy behavior and claw regeneration in snapping shrimp in the lab of Dr. Christopher Korey. The following year, she performed research investigating sensorimotor errors in larval zebrafish as a Fulbright Scholar in the lab of Ruben Portugues at the Max Planck Institute of Neurobiology (Munich, Germany). Patricia was an NSF Graduate Fellow.
